Research Interests

My research focuses on the pedagogical content knowledge, bteacher education, environmental education, students' attitude toward science/biology/biotechnology and perceptions of science.

 
     
  Profile Dr Muhammet Uşak is currently an Assistant Professor at the Dumlupinar University, Kutahya, Turkey. He has been teaching since 1998 - as a science teacher (1998-2000), and a teacher-educator (2000-present). He conducts pre-service training for primary, and junior college science teachers.

He has presented and published papers in various national, regional and international conferences and journals. He is an member of editorial boards of Journal of Baltic Science Education, Eurasia Journal of Mathematics, Science & Technology Education, and Educational Sciences: Theory and Practice. He has also acted as a consultant to Ministry of National Education for the primary science curriculum development.
